Biography
Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy was a conductor, pianist and composer, born in Hamburg on February 3, 1809 and died in Leipzig on November 4, 1847. He is best known for his stage music for A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream<.i>, his four symphonies, his concerto pour violin and his Octet for Strings.
Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy est un chef d'orchestre, pianiste et compositeur allemand né à Hambourg le 3 février 1809 et décédé à Leipzig le 4 novembre 1847. Il est connu pour sa musique pour Le Songe d’une nuit d’été, ses quatre Symphonies, son Concerto pour violon et son Octuor à cordes.
